Achieve Inbox Zero by using “Trash” as a Folder for email alerts

Hack: Setup a Gmail filter so that all newsletters, daily deal alerts, and other automated emails get sent straight to trash. I treat my “Trash” as a folder and I check it when I have time and doesn’t disrupt my productivity during the day. Your emails in Trash stay good for 30 days.

Here is a quick 1 minute video on how to do it.

    • You can unsubscribe and I suggest you do that for emails you don’t want.

This hack is for emails you want to get but are not urgent. For example I want to get emails about daily deals but I don’t want it to hit my inbox and disrupt my day.

      Does that make sense?
